If your application requires high-purity hydrogen with a compact and engineering-ready setup, the GT-7.5 PEM hydrogen generator is designed to deliver a stable hydrogen supply by electrolyzing qualified deionized (DI) water. Built around proton exchange membrane (PEM) technology, the system integrates key process modules—water circulation, electrolysis, oxygen removal, and gas–liquid separation—into an industrial-grade platform.
The GT-7.5 uses a water-circulation system to send qualified DI water to the electrolyzer for electrolysis. During operation:
At the anode, water is converted and releases electrons to form oxygen. A portion of water may be carried back into the tank, and oxygen is removed via an oxygen pump.
At the cathode, hydrogen ions gain electrons to form hydrogen gas.
After gas–water separation, the system can provide hydrogen at a maximum pressure of 3.5 MPa (depending on configuration and operating conditions).
This process path supports customers looking for a clean, controlled hydrogen source, especially where gas quality and system stability matter.
Hydrogen generation isn’t only about producing gas—it’s about controlling water management and preventing excessive moisture carryover. GT-7.5 incorporates a waterway circulation system and gas–liquid separation to improve operational stability and support long-duration runs.
Beyond the PEM electrolyzer stack, a complete hydrogen generation solution typically requires multiple subsystems. GT-7.5 can be delivered as a system that includes (not limited to):
electrolyzer and power supply facilities (e.g., constant-current power supply)
pure water preparation facilities
gas–liquid separation and drying components
hydrogen purification facilities (as required)
PLC control facilities, control panel, and safety system
valves, pipelines, and key balance-of-plant components
